WHAT ARE GOD’S REMAINS

WHAT ARE GOD’S REMAINS

As part of a project from God and under the Foreign Aid Department’s responsibility, English language services were established at PCAG Ministry Restoration.

This work occurs at the headquarters of the Restoration Ministry, located at Av. Farrapos, 312, in Porto Alegre/RS, on the first Sunday of each month at 10:30 am.

On December 3rd, the last service of 2023 was held, and many brethren were present to worship the Lord. Pr. Hubert Gbenakou, from Togo/Africa, who has cooperated with this work with his family was the one leading the service.

The musicians scheduled that day were the brethren Eliseu, Elias, and Nazarena. In Praise, the vocals composed by Sisters Paola Machado, Miriã Vedana, Ana Paula, and Grâce Gbenakou led the whole church to worship God with hymns and praises. The introductory word was given by Sr. Rhode Gbenakou, who brought a meditation based on the passage from Ps.103:2. Even going through trials, we should not question God, as He is in control of all things; If we praise God for everything, He will surprise us. The objective prayers were performed by the following brethren, Dc. Tiago Machado, who interceded for the missionary work, Br. Eliseu, for the Foreign Aid Department and the church, and Sr. Marcia Gubiani, for revival and baptism with the Holy Spirit. Later, Sr. Isabel Machado shared a word about tithes and offerings in the book of Acts 20. 35c “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

Soon after, the Leader of the Foreign Aid Department, Pb. Pascal Silas Thue greeted the visitors and prayed for the preacher, Pr. Francisco Silva, who was invited to give the word. He preached in Portuguese, being translated by sister Marcia Gubiani. The preacher took the text from John 14:1, 25,26. ” Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. (…) These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.”

We need to believe and accept God’s promises in our lives; if we do not, we will suffer disappointment.
